Depart Island: 0800 to 2000
Thanksgiving Weekend, October 10, 11 & 12 (half-hour service)
Departs City Station: 0745 to 1745
Depart Island: 0800 to 1800
October 13 to End of Haul Out (weekdays)
Departs City Station: 0745, 0815, 1015, 1215, 1415
Depart Island: 0800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1630
October 13 to End of Haul Out (weekends - hourly service)
Departs City Station: 0745 to 1545
Depart Island: 0800 to 1600
Launch Policies:
1) RCYC recommends that children under the age of 10 years wear a lifejacket.
2) Denim Jeans or Denim apparel are not permitted on the launch after Sailpast.
DRESS STANDARDS FOR THE LAUNCHES AND FRONT DOCK
RCYC is honoured with a "Royal" designation, it is a private club with beautiful facilities and as many formal events are held both on the Island and at the City Club a standard dress code exhibits courtesy and respect.
GENTLEMEN'S PROPER ATTIRE:
The minimum dress requirement for gentlemen is smart casual (ie. a shirt with collar and sleeves; and long trousers or dress shorts no more than 3" above the knee). Note: jeans, and/or any jean apparel (denim), non-dress shorts, cut-offs, tank tops or bathing suits are not considered appropriate attire.
LADIES' PROPER ATTIRE:
The minimum dress requirement for ladies is smart casual (ie. dress, skirt, slacks, or walking shorts with a blouse, sweater or tunic). Note: Jeans, and/or any jean apparel (denim), cut-offs, micro mini skirts, tank tops or bathing suits are not considered appropriate attire.
Many members use the Social Areas of the Club for the entertainment of guests. Accordingly, all members are requested to be considerate of their fellow members and their guests in their selection of attire when traveling on the Launches.
LIFE JACKET POLICY for RCYC youth programme participants (Child Card, Tennis and Junior Club) – Children under the age of 10 who take RCYC launches to and from the Island are required to wear a Canadian Coast Guard approved PFD while on the launch.
