For over 150 years, Toronto’s Royal Canadian Yacht Club has exemplified excellence in sailing and sport, as well as the enjoyment of social activities. The RCYC has grown with the times, meeting the changing needs and interests of its members, while maintaining its fundamental goals.
The RCYC is unique. During the late spring and summer, members take refuge from the hectic pace of the city by taking a short launch ride from the downtown core to the relaxing, panoramic shores of its Toronto Island facility--an oasis of calm amid the city chaos. Members of all ages enjoy sailing, tennis, lawn bowling, children’s programs, and other outdoor activities.
In addition to the seasonal island property, our year-round City Clubhouse is conveniently located at 141 St. George Street, near fashionable Yorkville and just minutes away from the financial and business district. Here members choose activities ranging from fitness programs and sports to business and social gatherings.
Youth development and family activities are strongly encouraged at the RCYC. Our youth programs are structured to nurture self skills, discipline, and personal achievement as well as ensuring fun and camaraderie. Our facilities allow young members to enjoy time together with parents and friends in an inviting setting.
The RCYC has formed relationships with other premier clubs around the world, allowing members to enjoy exclusive facilities and extended privileges on their travels.
Family and single memberships are available with entrance and annual fees structured according to age. Flexible payment plans are available.
