The Lawn Bowling Section President is Vivian Halliday and the Games Director is Joan Taschuk.
Join us on the Island green from May to late September. Games are played Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1:00 pm and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. The opening evening game is Wedesday, June 5.
Bowlers compete in tournaments at home and at other clubs. We entertain visitors on and off the green. We provide bowls and support for bowling parties. Come out anytime and give the game a try. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm. Flat-soled shoes are required.
Coaching clinics are held monthly on the third Saturday of the month. The first clinic is Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 am.
Our return to the Island is Pat Your Bowls Day – Saturday, May 4 at 11:00 am.
The playing season starts with opening Trebles Thursday, May 9 at 1:00 pm. Playing ends officially with the Last Bowl Blast Trophy, two games Saturday, September 28 at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm.
We welcome social Members.
